Uniform Pickup / Practice

We’ll be handing out uniforms and running introductory skill building drills (passing, shooting, ball control, positioning, etc) All registered players are welcome, but this will be geared towards beginners, (there will not be a game / scrimmage)

This will occur on May 25th at the Kiwanis Soccer Complex on Field 3 at 6:30 – 9:00

There is NO slide tackling or physical contact of any kind during the game. Please make sure to read through the brief rules and code of conduct

Any player who plans on missing 3 weeks of games (in a row) or more, must notify either their team captain, or a committee member beforehand. If this is not performed, they may lose their spot on the team without a refund.

* We mainly just want players to be respectful of their teammates by communicating more than previous years.

Players Substitutions

If you cannot make a game and require a player sub, you must submit your name and the substituting players name 24 hrs before the match begins, the committee and team captains will receive all substitutions that are completed through this method and will be able to verify.

Substitutions will not be permitted that do not follow the proper procedures, therefore make sure to communicate with your team if you know in advance whether you’ll be missing any matches to determine whether or not a sub is required.

Once we have everything finalized, we’ll be posting updates to the website, so check back often and make sure you’ve signed up for our e-newsletter.

FYI – We’re hoping to launch the season at the end of May or 1st week of June, as stated, stay posted for more information.

FYI – From the Bluewater School Board

The weather system that resulted in morning bus cancellations for today has passed through Grey-Bruce and, based on the current Environment Canada forecast, all Community Education evening programming for today, Thurs. March 1st, will take place as scheduled.

End of the Season Party

The end of the season party will be held at Joe Tomato’s, everyone is welcome to head up after the final game on March 1st. There will be prizes drawn for all those will attend.

Since these are friendly matches, feel free to trade players with your opponents team to mix up the game.

FYI – For the game that was canceled on January 19th, we are looking into getting gym time for March 8th. If we can located some gym time, we’ll proceed with friendly matches that night.
