Based on this, the first game this week will commence between the Gunners and the Devils at 6:30
There will be a 1/2 hour break after the first match, and the winner from the first match will play the Spurs for the final at 8:00

Here are the final standings for the 2009 / 2010 Owen Sound Adult Indoor Soccer League.

Hammers (25 pts)
Villians (24 pts)
Gunners (22 pts)
Devils (17 pts)
Rovers (6 pts)

The match ups for the playoffs are as follows.

Villians vs. Gunners (6:30 start)
Hammers vs. Devils (7:30 start)
Spurs vs Rovers (8:30 start)

2010 Outdoor Soccer Season

Check back within the next week or two, for information regarding the upcoming 2010 Outdoor Soccer Season.

Preliminary details so far…

+18 plus (all ages welcome over 18)
All Skill Levels Welcome. (zero experience players encouraged!)
Co-ed (it’s a mixed league)
One game a week (approx. hour in length)
Uniforms provided (shirts, shorts, socks)
Regulation Field with Referee

No Games Next Week

There will be no games next week (february 25th 2010) as stated on the schedule. But check back often as the team schedule for the playoffs will be announced once the final point totals have been tallied.

In the meantime, remember to keep in mind your picks for the “Best Team Player”….more information will be posted in the week ahead.

Thursday’s Futsal Games moved to Shallow Lake

All the games for this thursday (February 4th 2010) have been moved to the Shallow Lake Community Church. This is due to West Hill painting their lines in the east gym.

The game times are the same (6:30, 7:30, 8:30 start times) and there are change rooms located in the facility.

I will be emailing everyone on the distribution list, but please pass this message on to anyone else involved.

Futsal Cancelled – Due to Weather

Games have been cancelled for tonight (Jan 28th 2010) due to the weather conditions.

Due to the restructuring of the Blue Water board for the booking of the West Hill gym, I haven’t been able to get a straight answer on whether there is a basketball game this coming thursday.

I’ve been told it’s a possibility….

If everyone could show up at the regular time we can hope that the regular game times will go as scheduled. If not, it could mean the games would be pushed back each by 1/2 hour.

Games have been pushed back to 1/2 hr for each time slot due to the West Hill basketball games. That means the following:

6:30 -> 7:00 start

7:30 -> 8:00 start

8:30 -> 9:00 start
