Preliminary details so far…

• +18 plus (all ages welcome over 18)
• All Skill Levels Welcome. (zero experience players encouraged!)
• Co-ed (it’s a mixed league)
• One game a week (approx. hour in length)
• Uniforms provided (shirts, shorts, socks)
• Regulation Field with Referee

Just a reminder that this tuesday is the last game of the season. We’ll be heading up to Joe Tomato’s after the game (9 pm) and everyone is welcome.

Make sure to submit / email (fritzbrad[at]hotmail.com) your vote for “Best Team Player” from you team, one vote per player.

Both games will be played at 7pm, try to arrive around 6:45.

If anyone is interested in Indoor soccer, print off the registration form located under “Links / Downloads” in the right column and bring your payment and form to the game. The sooner we receive the registrations, the sooner we’ll get the league underway.

On Tuesday June 2nd we will be playing a couple of friendly pick up games for those that have already registered and those that would still like to sign up.

At that point we can get uniform sizes and hand out schedules.

The tournament rules and schedule will be sent when your registration confirmed

This is basically a fun tournament for players over 30, with a few exceptions of over 26 if not enough over 30.

P.S.:  If any of your team players/family want to make use of the camping area please let me know to give you some directions.

At the end of the tournament there will be a get together and presentation of the trophy at the same place as last year.

Recommended equipment to bring is:  Tent or camper, swimming gear, lawn chairs, bicycles, BBQ utensils and of course your soccer shoes.

The attached picture shows the camping place and is located in Bruce Rd. 4 between Durham and Hanover. (Former HW 4).

We are committed to make this event a family FUN EVENT, so please keep that in mind at all times.

All games will be played in all weather conditions. Games for tonight will commence at there normal times. (6:30 – 7:30)

Except when there is Lightning

So we’re going ahead with this, from the feedback so far, we’re hoping it won’t be a problem getting enough players.

Some more “solid” details are the following:

• Shooting for a start date of June 2nd
• Game nights should be Tuesday nights. (2 games that night back to back – ie. 6:30 & 7:30)
• We’re still looking at the cost, and hoping to keep it as reasonable as possible, we’ll know more once we get costs of the field, uniforms, refs, etc etc (range of $100 – $125 / per player)
• Estimated 16 games in the season

We’re also looking for more people who would be interested in getting involved, we’re not talking about strictly “bitch” work, but actually helping out with the decisions and planning of the league. If you’re truly interested, email me @ fritzbrad[at]hotmail.com
