To the players of the Owen Sound Adult Soccer league:
The Owen Sound Soccer committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Outdoor Season.
Thank you for your patience these past few months as we’ve tried to find solutions that would allow us to play this summer. We recently received a ‘Return To Play’ framework from Ontario Soccer detailing the steps a club would need to make for a safe return to the fields. After a careful review of the guidelines and an exploration of potential changes, we do not believe a safe return to play is possible within the scheduled summer season. Your health and safety is our top concern and we are unwilling to make any compromises that would put it at risk.
All registered players will be refunded in full. We ask for your patience as we process these payments.
